About Us

A full-service gym built on Valor.

Who We Are

More Than A Gym

A community-centered, inclusive fitness space dedicated to serving neurodivergent and adaptive athletes — alongside everyday members who just want a real gym.

Valor Fit Society is El Dorado Hills' inclusive training ground for boxing, kickboxing, MMA, strength & conditioning, and obstacle course racing (OCR) — built for absolute beginners, competitive athletes, and everyone in between. What sets us apart isn't just the class list; it's who's coaching it and who's standing next to you.

Family at the core. Parents and kids train under the same roof, often in the same hour. Siblings push each other through circuits. Grandparents cheer from the sideline seats. We built Valor around the idea that fitness sticks when it's something a whole household does together, not just one person's solo errand.

Coaching you can trust. Every trainer on our floor has logged real hours — years of hands-on coaching in boxing, adaptive fitness, and youth development, not a weekend certification and a whistle. That experience is why families and adaptive athletes alike keep coming back.

Find us at 1117 Windfield Way in El Dorado Hills, CA — the longtime home of Urban Sprawl Fitness — led by Johnna Beyer.

Meet Johnna

Founder of Valor Fit

Johnna is a proud mom of two girls, a devoted wife, and a woman on a mission. Her deep sense of purpose has always centered around empowering individuals — especially those in communities that are too often overlooked or forgotten. She recognized that real change starts with inclusion, support, and opportunity, and felt called to create a space where everyone could feel seen, valued, and capable.

With the help of her daughter Jade, Johnna turned that passion into action. Together, they launched a fitness program designed not just to build strength — but to build confidence, independence, and community. Through Valor Fit Society, Johnna is creating a movement where ability is celebrated, support is constant, and everyone is encouraged to grow in mind, body, and spirit.

Empowered Movement for Independent Living

Freedom In The Gym, Backed By A Coach

For teens and young adults ages 12 through their early 30s who want independence in the gym without losing hands-on support.

Coaches trained specifically for adaptive fitness

This isn't a general trainer improvising accommodations — it's a program built from the ground up around adaptive coaching, blending freedom and structure so each participant moves at their own pace while still getting hands-on guidance, mobility-focused programming, and goals tailored to the individual, not a generic plan.

More than a workout — it's a family. Friendships form, confidence grows, and everyone feels truly seen, supported, and valued.

Confidence Through Movement

Build strength and independence in a safe, supportive gym environment. Our program empowers teens and young adults to move confidently and effectively while developing lifelong fitness habits.

Adaptive and Personalized Workouts

Tailored routines that match each individual's goals and abilities. With mobility-focused and goal-based training options, participants gain the freedom to choose what excites them — while still supported by expert coaches.

Freedom with Support

Grow your independence without losing your safety net. Participants work at their own pace, with nearby coaches providing just the right level of guidance, structure, and motivation.

Community and Belonging

More than just a workout — it's a family. We foster an inclusive space where friendships form, confidence grows, and everyone feels truly seen, supported, and valued.

Designed for Teens and Young Adults

Specifically created for ages 12 through early 30s. This one-of-a-kind adaptive fitness class helps older teens and young adults build skills and autonomy in a fitness setting.

Physical, Mental & Social Growth

Support your entire self — body, mind, and heart. Our approach supports holistic development, boosting not just physical health but also mental resilience and social confidence.

What Families Are Saying

★★★★★

"My daughter Katie is so excited to attend training with Johnna. Johnna is knowledgeable, supportive, positive and kind. The group training class has inspired Katie to improve her physical fitness and social skills. Katie's motivation and independence has increased. Katie looks forward to working out and she continues to gain self confidence. Johnna is an inspirational coach. We are very lucky to have this program."

Janet C. Rescue, CA
★★★★★

"I am so grateful for Johnna and her Valor Fit team. The Empowered Movement for Independent Living class has been transformative for my son Brody. Being back in the gym has him up and moving, building muscle tone, and shedding inches, but it's given him so much more. He feels better, he looks better, and he loves to go workout with his coaches at the gym."

Lynnette B. Shingle Springs, CA
★★★★★

"Valor Fit has been amazing for our daughter! She has learned how to do things we didn't think she could — things like walking on a treadmill and doing shoulder presses. Johnna and Jade encourage her, without pushing her. They just go at her pace, even if it's slow, so that she feels comfortable. It's a very positive and uplifting environment! We highly recommend!"
